University of San Francisco School of Law proudly presents the 12th Annual Bay Area APALSA Conference.

The inaugural Bay Area Asian Pacific American Law Students Association Conference (BAAPALSA) – Building Bridges – was created in 2001 to promote education, leadership, social awareness and community service as well as to foster communication and interaction among Asian Pacific American law students, attorneys, and community leaders.

Since 2001 BAAPALSA has become one of the largest West Coast forums engaging over 250 law students, judges, and community leaders on diverse legal issues impacting the Asian Pacific American community.

Each year, student APALSA representatives from Golden Gate University, Stanford University, University of California Berkeley (Boalt Hall),University of California Davis (King Hall), University of California Hastings, McGeorge School of Law, University of San Francisco, and Santa Clara University come together to plan this special event.

We are delighted to introduce the HONORABLE GOODWIN LIU as our keynote speaker this year! Justice Liu is the newest Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of California and an inspiring model for Asian Pacific American law students. Our theme this year, Onward and Upwards, recognizes the progress, challenges, and aspirations of Asian Pacific Americans in the legal field.

We look forward to seeing you there!
